Getting To Know Pulido
Pulido is a stoic succulent that hails from Mexico. He is a slow growing plant that given the right conditions, will produce beautiful tiny flowers in the spring. He loves a lot of light, so make sure he is placed in a sunny south or west facing window. In the spring when temperatures get above 50 degrees, you can place him outside that receives partial shade mid-day. The biggest tell-tale if he is not getting enough light is if he starts to become a little “leggy” and seems to be stretching for the sun. A drought tolerant echeveria, he does not require much water. When his soil is completely dried out, soak him and then let dry again (try not to get the leaves wet). Overwatering is often a death sentence for this guy. Feed him when spring comes and every other month throughout the growing season with a very diluted succulent fertilizer.
