Getting to know your
Ruby Necklace
Ruby is sometimes referred to as a String of Pickles, or Little Pickles. An easy to grow, trailing succulent, this beauty will look great with her long locks. Part of the Aster family, she will flower in the Spring and Summer with little yellow daisy-looking flowers. If growing her indoors, make sure she is in the sunniest spot you have as she needs A LOT of light. The more the light, the more ruby her leaves become. She is TOXIC to cats and dogs, so if your furry friends are munchers, keep these in a spot that they won’t be tempted. She is also not frost tolerant and should be brought inside for temperatures lower than 50 degrees. When watering, she prefers the soak and dry method of watering, which means to soak the plant, then let it dry out completely before watering again.
